Professional Background
Peter Sackett is a professionally trained violinist with over 26 years of playing experience. He began learning the violin at the age of ten and went on to study at the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, graduating with honours.
Throughout his musical career, Pete has performed in orchestras, worked professionally as part of a London-based string quartet, and played at a wide range of weddings, private events and special occasions. His experience spans both classical and contemporary music, allowing him to create the perfect atmosphere for every event.
Known for his warm, expressive playing style and relaxed approach, Pete enjoys working closely with couples and clients to create a memorable musical experience. Whether performing timeless wedding classics, modern favourites, or special requests, his aim is always the same: to provide beautiful live music that enhances the occasion without ever overwhelming it.

Hi, we’re Pete and Anna, the people behind Peter Sackett Violin.
Pete has been playing violin for over 26 years and trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. He has performed with orchestras, worked professionally in a London string quartet, and played at weddings and events across London and the South West. From classical favourites to modern chart hits, Pete loves creating memorable moments through live music and tailoring each performance to the couple and their guests.
Anna looks after the business behind the music, managing enquiries, planning, social media and all the details that help each booking run smoothly. With a background in health and social care, recruitment and HR, she enjoys building relationships and helping couples feel supported throughout the planning process.
We’ve been together for almost a decade and recently launched Peter Sackett Violin to combine Pete’s passion for music with our shared belief that the personal touches are often the most memorable.
